Here are a few shots from this morning.  I actually remembered to charge my camera's battery this morning as opposed to Wednesday when I made it downtown and quickly realized that there would be no taking of pictures that day.  Frown.  

My GOD more School's Out

This was more of an attempt to test my new lens out than to revisit the site but hey it was on the way home.  

Las Vegas

There is absolutely no way to capture what Vegas is...especially if it is your first trip to the city.  There is a something that happens after your third or fourth casino on the strip and there is no wide angle lens large enough to represent what is really going on.  I don't know how to describe it but I told myself that I would not even attempt to try.  So I have only a few shots that I like from the trip (artistically but I have a ton of snapshots that are equally as important) and most of the are of the MGM Grand, our hotel.   I found that the only time I was focused enough to try to compose a shot was near our headquarters, everywhere else seemed like a nicotine-laced, sparkly carnival.

Needless to say, I loved the place.
