Picture #2 from day one concentrating on colorful abstracts.

One of the perks of working at a bookstore, especially one that buys used merchandise off the public, is that a lot of really strange and beautiful texts come across the buy table.  This abstraction was taken from a Russian children's book.

The item was placed on a table and lit from the left with a pan light and then reflected on the right with tinfoil.  I then focused on the Russian character in the middle and zoomed away with a long exposure.

I like this one. Lots of action. Lots of energy. I feel like that Russian children's book is about to turn into a superhero, but maybe that's because I'm a nerd.
