I think I like this photo more for its form than color abstraction. I am going to try this in black and white as well. I will post it when done.

This reminds me: a friend once referred to a t-shirt that I was wearing as pink when clearly, to me, the shirt was a solid brown. Turns out my shirt had faded from brown to pink so gradually over many washings that I failed to register the change. She actually had to show me an identical pink to convince me. It was strange -- when she held up her pink sample, I saw pink and when I looked at my shirt, brown. Side by side, they were clearly the same hue of pink.
